More AboutMaqueda Mozambique Lodge and Campsites
Lugar de Arvores T/A Maqueda@Mozambique can be found about 90 km north of Maputo in the virtually untouched and unexplored landscape of Calanga along the coastline between Macaneta and Bilene.
Our location makes us an ideal holiday getaway because it’s the only three-and-a-half-hour drive from the Lebombo border post at Komatipoort, South Africa.
Due to the location of the bush camp, it is essential that you only travel by 4×4 or diff-lock vehicles to reach the camp, as you drive through very sandy terrain en-route. It is advised that you deflate your tires to a max of 1 bar.
We are hidden amongst the trees, that keep the bush camp cool, and you are welcome to walk to the beach (900 meters from the camp) or drive over the dune with your 4×4 as you are allowed to use a 4 km stretch of the beach for driving.
Sunny skies, endless beaches, and clear waters teaming with marine life make Mozambique the perfect beach holiday destination.
Peace, Sea, and sun in a remote but reachable area are waiting for you.
